“Khachapuri” is a city café with Georgian food. We’ve intended to create an inexpensive and simple but stylish place with delicious food cooked of the freshest products. Why not try Georgian cuisine? It is one of the most diverse, colorful cuisines loved by many people. It gives you a feel of somewhat cozy atmosphere and dare-devil fun at the same time. Tarragon drink, shish-kebab, khachapuri, chacha – these words warms the heart, don’t they?
“Khachapuri” is the café with food free of any complications and banalities of national symbols. Here you would find neither plastic imitations of grapes on the walls, nor bundles of garlic hanging of the ceiling, nor a thick menu draped in leather with thousands of meals, nor the Tiflis style stone stairs. But you will always find fresh food, parties with lots of fun, hospitable hosts and mountains of delicious food.
And what about drinks? Alas! Nowadays Georgian wines can only be smuggled so, as a famous Russian saying goes, “abroad will help us”. Wines from the New World and wines of inexpensive European trademarks can accompany Georgian meals as well as the national ones. There are also herbal teas, quince compote, tarragon drink, coffee brewed in the sand, fresh garnet juice. And of course Matsoni (Georgian yogurt)!
We are positive that khachapuri is a pizza of 21st century! It is time to stop eating bread covered with tomato paste at cheap Italian eateries! We are giving today’s urbanists an opportunity to enjoy homely cuisine of brotherly nation!
